Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a senior specialist to lead Product Stewardship initiatives, focusing on the technical execution of PCFs and LCAs and shaping a multi-year strategy. You will advise where the company invests, develop digital PCF/LCA tools, and embed life cycle thinking into product development and procurement decisions.

The role requires turning PCF/LCAs into scalable, audit-ready work product and collaborating across procurement, manufacturing, regulatory, and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, industrial ecology, chemistry, or related field; or a bachelor’s with LCA/PCF experience.
• 10+ years of relevant industrial experience with cradle-to-grave LCA/PCF delivery.
• Experience with ISO 14040/14044, ISO 14067, and GHG Protocol Product Standard; pharma-specific PAS 2090 knowledge is a plus.
• Hands-on proficiency with LCA software (SimaPro, GaBi) and life cycle inventory databases; Watershed familiarity is a plus.
• Ability to translate technical results into business, regulatory, and commercial decisions for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject-matter expert and strategic lead for LCAs and PCFs
• Build, run, and review cradle-to-gate and cradle-to-grave LCAs/PCFs for audit-ready outputs
• Develop internal operating model: governance, methodologies, digital tools, data-management systems
• Own PCF/LCA technology implementation and Watershed platform guidance
• Translate external product-stewardship regulations into internal programs and workflows
• Represent BMS in industry workstreams/projects
• Collaborate with ESE to embed life cycle thinking early in product design and sourcing
