Penn State Dickinson Law seeks two innovative and collaborative law librarians to serve in Director positions, one as the Director of User Services and one as the Director of Technical Services.
Penn State Dickinson Law is a two-location law school. Penn State Dickinson Law’s primary location is Carlisle, PA, with an additional location in University Park, PA. The overarching mission of Penn State Dickinson Law is to educate and train lawyers who are equipped with skills and competencies to excel in an evolving legal profession. The Law Library plays a central role in the teaching, scholarly, and service missions of the Law School and the larger University. The Law Library Directors will work together to build on the Law Library’s extraordinary strengths and foster a collaborative culture in support of the academic and scholarly goals of the law school community. Both Directors will report to the Associate Dean for Library and Information Services.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
