JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Alumni Relations and Stewardship Officer works closely with the Development Office at Penn State Dickinson Law. The role involves overseeing and managing the alumni relations and stewardship programs, including marketing, communications, special events, and programming. The officer recruits and manages alumni volunteers for boards and committees.

  • Develop and implement alumni relations and stewardship programs.
  • Recruit alumni for participation in programs, boards, and committees.
  • Engage in marketing and communication efforts, including writing for publications.
  • Participate in strategic planning for new initiatives.
  • Provide leadership to volunteers and staff.
  • Collaborate with partners to enhance alumni relations and stewardship.
  • Engage university partners and the community.
  • Communicate objectives and responsibilities to internal and external leaders.
  • Coordinate nominations and awards processes.
  • Plan and manage college programs and events.
  • Coordinate endowment management and serve as stewardship liaison.
  • Manage volunteers; may supervise staff.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or higher plus six years of experience, or equivalent education and experience. The position requires operating a motor vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and background checks.
