MSD in Rahway, NJ is seeking a Director, Launch Lead to drive end-to-end launch excellence for Animal Health products. You will lead a cross-functional Launch Squad, align global and regional stakeholders, and manage risk from pre-NPDP through initial market launch and beyond.

This role requires enterprise leadership, strategic acumen, and deep experience with product launches, governance, and cross-functional programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, veterinary medicine or related field.
• Advanced degree such as MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant business experience in Animal Health, pharmaceuticals, life sciences or regulated industry.
• Experience leading globally dispersed teams through influence without direct authority.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end product lifecycle and launch considerations.
• Ability to travel as required (up to 25%).

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain product-specific launch plan using the Launch Excellence blueprint.
• Governance, transparency, and performance management of launch readiness and post-launch performance.
• Lead Launch Squad and align stakeholders across regions.
• Coordinate global, regional, and market inputs to integrated plans.
• Identify risks and drive resolution; escalate as needed.
• Provide direction to project managers and contributors.
• Strengthen launch capabilities, tools, governance.
