Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, business, operations management, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive operations experience in landfill, solid waste, heavy industrial, or similar.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing managers or supervisors.
• Experience with P&L budgeting, forecasting, and performance data-driven decisions.
• MOLO certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the landfill operation and translate goals into actionable plans and performance targets.
• Develop and coach managers and supervisors; conduct regular performance discussions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Direct budgets, forecasts, and capital plans; monitor cost per ton and throughput.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage waste flow, equipment, staffing, and projects.
• Represent site with regulators and stakeholders; drive safety culture and continuous improvement.
