Job summary

Midland-Marvel Recruiters, LLC is partnering with a community hospital in Atlanta, GA to appoint a Laboratory Director who will oversee daily operations of the clinical laboratory, ensure timely reporting, and lead a skilled team in a partnership model.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in medical lab science (Master’s preferred), brings at least five years in leadership with direct reports, and has experience with CAP/CLIA accreditation and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Provides leadership to laboratory staff and directs day-to-day lab operations.
• Manages operational or project budgets and resource planning.
• Ensures adherence to QA, safety, regulatory, and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate laboratory reporting and direct day-to-day operations.
• Direct supervisory activities for credentialed and non-credentialed personnel.
• Establish strategies aligning with QA, safety, compliance, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
