Job summary

Fortegra in Jacksonville, FL seeks an experienced IT Operations leader to oversee Help Desk, midrange systems, and enterprise platform services. You will manage vendors, software licensing, and the IT operating budget while supporting audit and security initiatives across the organization.

The role partners with Security, Network, and App teams to drive modernization, AI-enabled tooling, and site builds. You will lead remote and on-site teams, set standards, and mentor staff to ensure high

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years in IT Operations including infrastructure or enterprise platform administration.
• 3+ years in a management/supervisory capacity leading IT teams.
• Experience managing IT vendor relationships, software licensing, and large renewal portfolios.
• Experience supporting external/internal audits (PCI, SOC 1/SOC 2, NYDFS).
• Experience coordinating network circuit lifecycles with carriers/contractors.
• Familiarity with enterprise platform administration (EPM, MDM, SSE, DLP, MFA).
• Familiarity with midrange/legacy enterprise platforms and escalation support.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Operations staff including Help Desk and midrange teams; manage remote staff.
• Develop policies, runbooks, incident/change management, and monitor service delivery.
• Oversee vendor contracts, licensing, renewals, and accounts payable activities.
• Manage network circuits lifecycle and coordination with Network team and contractors.
• Provide governance for enterprise platforms and AI-enabled IT modernization initiatives.
• Prepare for audits and coordinate with Security for compliance and risk management.
