Job summary

Nurix Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking an operating leader for IT infrastructure and operations.

You will own infrastructure, cybersecurity, end user services, and ITSM in one integrated scope, partnering with a fractional CISO on security strategy and policy. You will lead a hybrid team spanning enterprise architecture, system administration, and cybersecurity operations, guiding both staff and MSPs while driving governance and vendor management as scope grows.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive technology services leadership.
• 5+ years at Director or Senior Director level.
• Experience leading integrated infrastructure, cyber operations, and ITSM as one scope.
• Deep experience across AWS plus Microsoft Entra and Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with AWS ParallelCluster, HPC, SageMaker, EKS/ECS; DevOps and IaC practices.
• Track record managing a managed service portfolio and vendor transitions.
• Experience building infrastructure in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments.
• Experience in a regulated biotech/pharma/healthcare or equivalent industry.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate MSP portfolio across infrastructure, security, and help desk.
• Build a cybersecurity operations function from contractor and MDR coverage.
• Establish a governance model with research computing and align infra with IT.
• Own a formal identity and access management program.
• Refresh the service experience end to end and strengthen vendor management.
