Job summary

The New York Community Trust seeks a Director of Investment Operations & Treasury to lead investment analysis, reporting, and oversight of assets across endowment funds and donor-advised programs.

The role coordinates with the external investment advisor, manages treasury, liquidity, and distributions, and supports governance and donor engagement in a high-impact philanthropic organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience in investment operations, liquidity management, and governance is required.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with donors and committees.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison to external investment advisor and ensure alignment with policy and goals.
• Oversee transactions, valuations, audits, and reporting; drive system improvements.
• Manage annual spending plan calculations and distributions with Finance.
• Support donor engagement by translating investment strategy into clear communications.
• Lead treasury and liquidity management in partnership with senior finance leaders.
• Oversee annual reviews with trustee banks and monitor fees and performance.
