The Director, Internal Communications – U.S. Business will help develop and execute internal communications strategies that inform, engage, and connect employees across MetLife’s U.S. Business. This role will partner closely with business leaders and communications colleagues to translate priorities into clear, timely, and relevant messaging across internal channels, while leading a small team responsible for day-to-day communications planning and execution. The successful candidate will be a strong writer and strategic communicator with experience supporting leadership communications, managing editorial planning, and delivering communications programs that drive understanding and engagement. This role is ideal for a collaborative, hands‑on communications leader who can balance strategy and execution, develop team talent, work effectively across functions, and help ensure employees are informed and aligned during key business moments.
Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $128,800 - $171,700. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
