Job summary

Aspida seeks a hands-on Director, Insurance Product Management to lead its insurance systems portfolio from the Durham, NC headquarters. You will drive roadmap execution across Policy Administration, Servicing, Document generation, and related platforms, coordinating with business, technology, operations, actuarial, compliance, data, and vendor partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• 12–14+ years of product management, product ownership, or related roles, with leadership experience.
• Experience delivering for enterprise applications, policy administration, servicing, or related insurance capabilities in a regulated industry.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including Operations, Accounting, Actuarial, Compliance, Data, Finance, and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of the roadmap across all assigned insurance systems and capabilities, delivering priorities on schedule.
• Coach and oversee a team of Product Managers and manage day-to-day roadmap execution and stakeholder management.
• Coordinate with Operations, Actuarial, Accounting, Compliance, Distribution, Technology, Data, and external vendors to align priorities.
• Translate business strategy into actionable requirements, epics, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Oversee discovery, requirements gathering, and backlog refinement across insurance systems portfolios.
