Job summary

Aspida is seeking a Platform Architect to lead target-state architecture for our retirement and annuity platform. You will partner with business, product, and technology stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with Aspida's strategic objectives.

You will provide architectural guidance from concept through implementation and production support, with onsite presence in Durham, NC, reporting to the Director of Architecture.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field with 6+ years in financial services architecture.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and systems-thinking abilities.
• Experience in regulated environments with enterprise controls and auditability.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead target-state architecture and guide technology roadmaps for modernization efforts.
• Create and maintain architecture artifacts and design documentation.
• Provide architectural oversight from concept through production support.
• Assess emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and communicate concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• Create detailed diagrams documenting challenges and robust solutions.
