Ripple is seeking a Director of Communications in New York to lead external narratives across prime brokerage, treasury management and capital markets. This senior role shapes Ripple's voice for institutional audiences and drives ownership of product announcements, thought leadership, and media strategy.

You will craft core messaging, build relationships with financial and crypto press, and coordinate with senior leaders to position Ripple as the infrastructure layer for institutional finance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in communications or PR with financial services, capital markets, institutional fintech, or digital asset firm.
• Consistent track record placing stories at top-tier financial media and managing multi-product programs.
• Experience preparing and managing C-suite spokespeople across media and speaking engagements.
• Deep understanding of capital markets and how to communicate them to sophisticated audiences.
• Strong relationships with financial and crypto press; credibility in TradFi and digital assets.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; sharp judgment and adaptability.
• Self-starter who thrives in a team and pushes boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Own the communications strategy across prime brokerage, treasury management and capital markets products and partners.
• Lead end-to-end announcements: partnerships, product launches and market infrastructure integrations.
• Build Ripple's thought leadership in corporate treasury and capital markets with executive bylines and speaking opportunities.
• Develop messaging architecture cross-cutting these product lines and articulate Ripple's differentiation to corporates and press.
• Maintain relationships with financial and institutional media across major outlets.
• Lead rapid-response and issues communications on market events and regulatory developments.
• Partner with legal, compliance, product, and marketing to integrate communications into GTM strategy.
