20b diverse credit fund, based in New York, is seeking an experienced Director of Institutional Fundraising to lead capital formation and relationship development with major US institutional investors. The role reports to the senior leadership team overseeing Business Development and Investor Relations.

The ideal candidate has deep fundraising experience in credit-focused alternatives and a broad US network.

Qualifications

10-15 years of fundraising experience from a credit fund (PE or Hedge)
Must have fundraising experience for alternatives
Based in New York and report to senior leadership in Business Development and Investor Relations
Strong institutional network across the US with ability to raise capital for credit and private markets
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Responsibilities

Lead institutional fundraising initiatives across private credit, structured credit, and related strategies
Identify, cultivate, and convert relationships with pensions, endowments, foundations, family offices, RIAs, and consultants
Manage the full fundraising process from prospecting through due diligence, closing, and allocations
Develop and execute a regional investor coverage strategy to expand commitments
Represent the platform with senior decision-makers at institutional investors and consultants
Communicate the firm's investment approach, track record, and differentiated capabilities to potential investors
