Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Executive to lead operational, strategic, and program development efforts within South Suburban Hospital. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care and aligning initiatives with the system's mission and values.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN and MSN (or BSN with MSN in Nursing) and has at least 5 years of healthcare leadership experience, with Critical Care experience preferred and RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in healthcare leadership.
• Critical Care experience preferred.
• RN license required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and administer all operational aspects to ensure high quality care for patients.
• Develop and implement strategic plans aligning with Advocate Health Care/South Suburban Hospital’s Mission, Values, and Philosophy.
• Lead strategic planning, marketing, and new service line/program development efforts for assigned service lines in collaboration with business development.
• Develop and implement policies and standards following quality management and external guidelines (DNV, IDPH, CMS, CDC, OSHA).

BSN and MSN or MSN in Nursing

Registered Nurse (RN) license

Major Responsibilities:

• Coordination and administration of all operational aspects to ensure effective high quality care for patients.
• Development and implementation of strategic plans that integrate the goals of Advocate Health Care/South Suburban Hospital’s Mission, Values, and Philosophy.
• Lead strategic planning, marketing, and new service line/program development efforts for assigned service lines, both inpatient and outpatient programs, in collaboration with business development. Market and promote service in conjunction with other disciplines and departments.
• Development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards which follow quality management, DNV, IDPH, CMS, CDC, OSHA, and other external guidelines.
• Responsible for professional and personal growth and development.

Education and experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and Masters Degree any field OR Bachelors Degree any field with a Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Minimum 5 years in healthcare leadership.
• Critical Care experience preferred.
• Nurse, Registered (RN)

Certification:

• Nurse Executive Certification and/or certification in specialty preferred(or within 2 years of hire into position)
