AccentCare, in partnership with Miami Jewish Health Systems, seeks a Director of Inpatient Center Operations (RN) to lead clinical operations at the Miami Jewish IPC in Miami, FL. This full-time role drives clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and high-quality end-of-life care.

You will guide site leadership, optimize performance metrics, and elevate quality across an interdisciplinary team, shaping the clinical vision with compassion and integrity.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of supervisory experience.
• Registered Nurse license in state(s) practicing.
• CHPN certification preferred.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Minimum three years' experience in hospice or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Supervise direct patient/family care team members.
• Ensure services comply with federal, state and local requirements.
• Participate in selection and evaluation of care team members.
• Oversee orientation and ongoing staff education.
• Ensure timely initial assessments and required reassessments.
• Coordinate development of the interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Ensure 24-hour nursing and psychosocial service availability and on-call coordination.
• Lead interdisciplinary team meetings and maintain documentation.

Director of Inpatient Center Operations (RN) Qualifications

• Minimum one year of supervisory experience
• Registered Nurse license in state(s) practicing
• Certified Hospice Nurse (CHPN) is preferred
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
• Minimum three years' experience in hospice, home health, general medical-surgical, oncology or patient population specific (i.e.: geriatrics, pediatric, etc.) nursing

Director of Inpatient Center Operations (RN) Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all direct patient/family care team members, including nurses, social workers, hospice aides and counselors
• Ensure that all patient/family services comply with federal, state(s) and local regulatory requirements and with accepted professional standards
• Participate in the selection and evaluation of all direct patient/family care team members.
• Participate in the orientation and ongoing education of staff and volunteers
• Ensure that all initial assessments and required reassessments are conducted by qualified team members within required time frames
• Coordinate the development, implementation and review of the interdisciplinary plan of care for each patient/family
• Ensure the 24-hour availability of nursing and psychosocial services to patients/families and coordinates "on-call" assignments
• Conduct interdisciplinary team meetings, maintain appropriate documentation, or designate these functions to a qualified team member
