Job summary

Foundation Finance Company is seeking a Director of Information Security and Technical Operations to lead strategy and daily operations for information security, infrastructure, and cloud/privacy controls across on-prem and cloud environments. You will own regulatory programs (FTC, NYDFS, SOC 2, NIST), drive risk management, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to embed security by design.

This role reports to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or similar field
• 8+ years in information security and IT operations
• 8+ years in progressive security leadership or senior management roles

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the enterprise Information Security Program aligned with regulatory requirements
• Direct day-to-day security operations and secure network architectures
• Oversee IT infrastructure, IAM and core services
• Manage SOC 2 audits, evidence collection, and auditor engagement
• Implement risk management aligned to NIST and FTC NYDFS rules
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Data teams on secure architecture
• Lead third-party/vendor security risk management
• Define and report security KPIs to leadership and board
• Develop budget and fintech workforce training programs
