Job summary

U.S. FinTech seeks a Senior Director of Information Security to lead architecture, engineering and risk management in a fully remote role across the US. You will guide security strategy, drive cloud-native improvements, and collaborate with IT and business leaders to strengthen enterprise defenses.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in global cybersecurity leadership, 5+ years in security architecture/engineering, and industry certs. Strong communication and governance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related discipline; advanced degrees preferred.
• Industry Certification (CISSP, CISA, CISM) or equivalent designation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement company-wide cyber security architecture and engineering.
• Lead cyber security programs across divisions and cloud-native environments.
• Collaborate with IT and business leaders to assess and manage cyber risk.
• Develop security patterns enabling secure application development.
• Oversee deployment, integration, and configuration of security solutions.
• Create and communicate metrics to measure program effectiveness.
• Lead IAM program including lifecycle, access governance, and MFA.
