Job summary

The Paley Center for Media in New York seeks a Director of Industry Membership to lead strategy and execution of industry membership initiatives. You will develop innovative approaches for expanding partnerships and elevating Paley’s industry presence.

Key responsibilities include building high-level relationships, representing Paley at major events, and collaborating with leadership to drive measurable engagement and growth in the Media Council. A strong executive presence is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in fundraising, mediasales, membership or business development.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writingskills.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Spanish bilingualism is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary external facing liaison for industry engagement and high-level relationships.
• Represent the company at key industry events to expand the network and influence.
• Develop relationships with industry leaders to promote initiatives and long-term engagement, especially growing membership and the Media Council.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to strategize industry engagement with measurable results.
• Conduct research to understand industry trends and identify opportunities for partnerships.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and communications to stakeholders.
• Lead the development of marketing materials to communicate the value of industry initiatives.
• Maintain data on engagement activities to assess effectiveness and identify improvements.
• Act as a Paley Ambassador for social media to amplify reach.
• Support special projects assigned.
