Job summary

Mirador Therapeutics, Inc. seeks a Director of Immunology with a deep background in immunology and experience in cell-based assays to support target validation, early antibody discovery, IND-enabling studies, and biomarker discovery.

This role requires leadership, decisive decision-making, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will lead a team, manage CROs, and collaborate across functions to align immunology strategies with program timelines and

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in Immunology with 12+ years in academia and relevant biotech/pharma.
• Experience in discovery and translational immunology within autoimmunity/inflammation.
• Prior people management experience required.
• Experience leading project teams and managing CROs/vendors.
• Experience in drug discovery with leadership of preclinical development and clinical candidate selection.

Responsibilities

• Lead immunology and cell biology strategy for target validation and biomarker discovery across the portfolio.
• Design, develop, and oversee cell-based assays using primary human immune cells and ex vivo models.
• Direct immunological support for early-phase antibody discovery, including target engagement and functional assays.
• Drive immunology and pharmacology components of IND-enabling studies, including biomarker strategy.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing immunology team and manage CROs.
• Partner cross-functionally to align immunology strategy with program timelines.
• Present data, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Track emerging immunology science and technologies to inform program strategy in IBD and autoimmune disease.
