AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Director of Immunology Public Affairs to lead integrated strategies across our dermatology portfolio.

You will counsel senior leaders, translate scientific and business priorities into compelling communications, and manage a broad range of stakeholders, including patient advocates and spokespersons, to strengthen reputation and business impact. You will collaborate with R&D and commercialization teams, oversee agency partnerships, and drive measurement of program success

Qualifikationen

• A bachelor’s degree is required with preference for communications, PR, marketing, business or journalism.
• 10+ years in public relations; agency and/or pharma in-house experience preferred.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic communications programs with measurable business impact.
• Proven media relations experience with traditional and emerging media.
• Strong planning, execution and process-management skills; builds credibility with leaders and stakeholders.
• Business acumen to align communications with business priorities.
• Scientific acumen to translate complex concepts for target audiences.
• Able to work in a matrixed org using influence and relationship management.
• Experience in issues/crisis management; leading teams is preferred.

• Foster connections across immunology, dermatology and aesthetics to strengthen output.
• Collaborate with R&D communications and pipeline teams for consistent messaging.
• Interface with media as AbbVie spokesperson on milestones and news.
• Build and sustain relationships with spokespeople, patient advocates and influencers.
• Champion new ideas, channels, and best practices in Corporate Affairs.
• Set objectives, measure success, and report business impact to senior leaders.
• Lead with AbbVie standards, ensuring compliant, cross-stakeholder messaging.
• Support pan-immunology communications and manage budgets.
