Job summary

Sartorius in the United States is seeking a Product Management leader for Imaging Solutions to drive portfolio strategy across instruments, software, and reagents, shaping long-term roadmaps and value propositions.

You will lead a team of product managers, work with customers and cross-functional partners to translate market insights into differentiated imaging solutions and guide execution using stage-gate and agile methods.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Cell Biology, Biology, Immunology, Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Bioengineering; an MBA or PhD is preferred
• 10+ years of product management or commercial experience within life science tools or a related industry, including at least 7 years of people management experience
• 5+ years of hands-on microscopy and image analysis experience
• Proven PM experience developing strategies and roadmaps for life science imaging instrumentation and software portfolios; reagents and consumables preferred
• Strong strategic, business, and innovation acumen to identify market opportunities and develop portfolio strategies
• Experience with stage-gate and agile methodologies while collaborating across functions
• Effective communication and leadership to influence senior stakeholders
• Alignment with Sustainability, Openness, and Enjoyment values

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of product managers and product owners
• Manage full product lifecycle across instruments, software, and reagents & consumables
• Drive profitability and pricing strategies for existing product lines
• Define and execute product strategies, roadmaps, and requirements
• Analyze market trends and maintain deep product knowledge for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product requirements
• Conduct competitive analyses and build business cases to guide development
