Job summary

Mizuho Financial Group Inc. is seeking a Director of IHC Regulatory Reporting in New York to lead analysis, change delivery, and platform enablement for the IHC regulatory reporting framework.

You will translate regulatory requirements into functional specifications for the Axiom platform, ensuring data lineage, governance, and sustainable delivery across Finance, Risk, and Technology in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of IHC regulatory reporting frameworks, governance, and controls.
• Strong grasp of regulatory data dependencies and legal entity reporting.
• Hands-on experience delivering regulatory reporting using Axiom including data ingestion, rule configuration, and validation.
• Requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation.
• Process modelling, gap analysis, and control design.
• Executive-level communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support interpretation of regulatory instructions to define report definitions and calculation logic.
• Translate business requirements into clear, testable functional requirements for Axiom.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability from business requirements to Axiom logic and controls.
• Lead business analysis for regulatory reporting via Axiom, including data sourcing and rule logic.
• Define functional specifications for Axiom rules and mappings.
• Drive data consistency across Axiom implementations to reduce manual overlays.
• Agile Delivery Leadership: lead as BA/PO for regulatory reporting initiatives and manage backlogs.
• Balance Agile delivery with regulatory documentation and evidence requirements.
