Job summary

Nasdaq is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Axiom Regulatory Reporting practice in New York. In this client-facing role, you will partner with financial institutions to design, implement, and optimize regulatory reporting on the Axiom platform while aligning with U.S.

regulatory expectations. You will work at the intersection of business, data, and technology, guiding clients through complex data requirements, providing expert SME guidance, and ensuring accurate reporting for banking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in regulatory reporting within banking, broker-dealer, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial products, balance sheet composition, and accounting concepts.
• Proficiency with large datasets, SQL, and data models.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to gather, analyze, and document data and reporting requirements for regulatory submissions.
• Translate complex regulatory rules into functional specifications and configuration approaches within the Axiom platform.
• Advise clients on industry best practices, implementation strategies, and process improvements across regulatory reporting operations.
• Provide subject matter expertise on U.S. regulatory frameworks, interpreting rules from Federal Reserve, OCC, FDIC, SEC, and FINRA.
• Perform data analysis, source-to-target mapping, reconciliation, and variance analysis for reporting accuracy.
• Support user acceptance testing, production parallel runs, and go-live activities.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and teaming with senior SMEs.
