Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin seeks a Director I, Student and Employee Investigator to lead investigations of discrimination, harassment, and related policy violations. You will handle investigations for students, faculty, staff, and applicants within the DIA framework.

Responsibilities include interviewing participants, summarizing evidence, producing comprehensive reports, and supporting responses to EEOC, TWC-CRD, DoL, and OCR charges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of relevant experience required.
• Master’s or Law degree preferred with >5 years investigative experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret applicable policies.
• Interview all relevant participants and document the investigative process.
• Write a comprehensive investigative report summarizing findings.
• Assist with coordination of formal position statements to regulatory agencies.
• Assist in intake and other duties as assigned.
• Present investigative findings during adjudication.
