Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Director Solution Architect, Hyperscale Power to be the primary technical partner for a strategic hyperscale customer. You will lead architecture from concept through deployment, translating roadmaps into scalable power solutions and driving product development alignment.

You will collaborate with Global Account Directors, Engineering, and Technical Sales to shape future data center power architectures and deliver differentiated Vertiv solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience leading architecture or technical solution development for large-scale power deployments.
• Deep expertise in mission-critical power systems and data center infrastructure.
• Proven success working with hyperscale customer engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of power distribution, protection, controls, and power quality.
• Ability to influence multidisciplinary teams without direct authority.
• Strong technical communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with customer engineering, infrastructure and design leaders.
• Own end-to-end power architecture strategy from concept through deployment.
• Lead development of future-state power architectures and reference designs.
• Translate objectives into system requirements, reference architectures and design principles.
• Coordinate reviews and critical technical decisions across teams.
