Job summary

Vertiv Corporation seeks a Director Solution Architect, Hyperscale Power to partner with a strategic hyperscale customer’s engineering organization. You will own end-to-end power architecture from concept to deployment, aligning with product development and delivering scalable data center solutions.

You will drive future-state thermal architectures, collaborate with Global Account Directors and engineering teams, and influence product roadmaps to meet customer needs and expand Vertiv’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience leading architecture, design, or technical solution development for large-scale mission-critical power deployments.
• Deep expertise across data center thermal architectures and operations, including chilled water, air handling, DX, liquid cooling, CDU, heat rejection, and controls.
• Demonstrated success working with hyperscale customer engineering organizations.
• Strong ability to influence multidisciplinary teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with customer engineering and design leaders as Vertiv's primary technical advisor for future power architecture decisions.
• Own the customer's end-to-end power architecture strategy from concept through deployment.
• Lead development of future-state thermal architectures and scalable reference designs with customer engineering teams.
• Translate customer objectives and roadmaps into system requirements and design principles.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver differentiated Vertiv solutions from concept to delivery.
