Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Director of Infrastructure Platform and Engineering Services to lead the enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, and modernization efforts.

You will steer hybrid data center operations across AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP, champion automation and IaC, and partner with executives to align technology with business goals while managing budgets and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience leading enterprise infrastructure, platform engineering, cloud services, or technology operations functions.
• 10+ years of people leadership experience managing large, distributed technical teams.
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure budgets and vendor relationships.
• Experience in hybrid data center and multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise Infrastructure Platform and Engineering Services strategy and roadmaps.
• Lead infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Oversee hybrid data center operations and multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP).
• Drive automation, IaC, and DevOps best practices to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.
• Establish governance, standards, KPIs, and incident response processes.
