Beyond great food, our customers also gain insights to help them stay competitive, no matter their size. Our portfolio includes creative solutions geared at helping food industry professionals compete in foodservice, retail, in-store bakery, deli, and prepared foods, among others. Working in 100 locations globally, with annual sales exceeding $4billion, Rich’s is a global leader with a focus on everything that family makes possible. Rich’s—Infinite Possibilities. One Family.

The Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and trusted consultant to senior leaders and their teams across Finance, Information Technology, and the Transformation Office. This embedded HR leadership role is responsible for aligning people strategies with business objectives to drive enterprise performance, workforce effectiveness, and organizational growth.

While highly strategic in scope—shaping talent strategies, driving organizational effectiveness, and influencing senior leadership—this role also carries critical tactical responsibilities. As the organization continues to mature its HR Business Partner, Shared Services, and Center of Excellence (CoE) operating model, the Director will help bridge strategy and execution to ensure consistent employee experiences and seamless HR service delivery.

As a key member of the HR Business Partner community, the Director integrates deep HR expertise with strong business acumen to proactively identify opportunities, address organizational challenges, and deliver talent outcomes. This role collaborates closely with HR’s CoEs to translate business needs into actionable, high-impact people strategies.

  • Partner directly with senior leadership to understand business goals and translate them into people strategies that enable performance and drive growth.
  • Lead talent and workforce planning to assess organizational health, address capability gaps, and support future workforce needs.
  • Provide executive coaching and strategic counsel on leadership development, succession planning, team dynamics, and organizational change.
  • Tailor and implement enterprise talent processes (e.g., Talent Reviews, Performance Management, Succession Planning) for assigned functions.
  • Accelerate talent mobility and readiness through experiential learning, thoughtful role design, and performance development initiatives.
  • Act as a change agent and cultural ambassador during major transformation efforts, facilitating stakeholder alignment and effective change management.
  • Leverage data and analytics to influence business decisions and measure the effectiveness of HR strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Experience Network (AEN) and Centers of Excellence to ensure integrated, aligned HR support.
  • Consult on organizational design and role architecture to ensure clarity, scalability, and strategic alignment.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for c-suite leaders, balancing functional needs with enterprise standards and priorities.
  • Navigate complex, cross-functional interdependencies and ensure alignment of people strategies across the organization.
  • Raise visibility to resource or timing conflicts between CoEs and business functions, ensuring optimal pacing and execution of HR initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior-level HRBP or strategic HR consultant role.
  • Experience supporting global or enterprise-wide functions (APAQ, LATM, EMEA).
  • Proven success in driving talent strategies, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand financial and operational drivers and speak the language of the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach senior leaders, influence without authority, and serve as a trusted advisor.
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation and working across global organizations.
  • Advanced skills in data interpretation, storytelling, and consulting to derive insights and drive action.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and align cross-functional teams around shared goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR technologies, with strong project management and execution skills.
