Job summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta seeks a Director of Human Resources to provide strategic HR support and direction to assigned leaders. This role partners with leaders to foster a high-performance culture, focusing on organizational design, engagement, retention, and change management.

You will collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to support recruitment, recognition, employee relations, compensation, and benefits, serving as a strategic partner on people decisions and interventions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of ten years human resources experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Master's degree preferred and SHRM or HRCI certification advantageous.
  • Knowledge of employment law and regulations is required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, presentation, leadership, conflict resolution, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic support and direction to leaders on organizational design, engagement, retention and change management.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence for recruitment, retention, recognition, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
  • Advise leaders on key people decisions and implement intervention strategies.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR processes, programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Coach leaders to ensure compliance with HR processes, policies, and regulations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic support and direction to leaders of assigned areas on a variety of issues including but not limited to organizational design, engagement, retention and change management.
  • Partner with other HR Centers of Excellence to support leaders in recruitment, retention, recognition, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to leaders on key people decisions and provide value-add intervention strategies.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes, programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide continuous education and coaching to leaders and ensure leadership compliance with Human Resources processes, programs, policies, and procedures and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Partner with the HR leadership team and leaders of assigned areas to develop and effectively deliver employee communications.
