Job summary
AngloGold Ashanti North America (AGANA) seeks a Director, Human Resources Business Partner for Nevada Projects to design and execute the human capital strategy from FEED to commissioning and handover. You will scale teams, manage labor dynamics, and drive high-performance culture under pressure.
You will lead strategic workforce planning, executive advisory, talent acquisition and mobility, organizational design, and culture transformation across project phases, while ensuring labor relations
Qualifications
- 10+ years of HR experience supporting large capital projects
- Experience with PMBOK/Agile in HR context
- Proficiency with enterprise HR systems and data analytics
Responsibilities
- Architect the multi-year headcount strategy for project lifecycle
- Act as trusted coach to project leadership and senior leadership
- Source specialized technical talent and manage relocations
- Build scalable org structure for ramp up/down phases
- Champion succession planning and leadership development
- Lead culture transformation and large-scale change initiatives
- Navigate complex labor environments including unions
- Embed a Safety First culture within HR framework
