Job summary

Lumen seeks a Director of HR Solutions to lead strategic people transformation initiatives that enable enterprise transformation, AI-enabled working, and evolving operating models. This role partners with leaders, HR COEs, and People Strategists to shape workforce readiness and organizational design in a remote, national capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with expertise in organizational design, workforce transformation, change management and related disciplines
• 4+ years of direct or matrixed leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience assessing the people implications of transformation
• Deep expertise in organizational design and effectiveness, including governance and organization diagnostics
• Experience with generative AI and AI agents and impact on workforce design
• Strong executive relationship building and cross-functional influence
• Analytical skills and business acumen for data-driven decisions
• High learning agility in ambiguity and rapidly evolving environments
• Continuous improvement mindset for enterprise change

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior business leaders on enterprise transformation initiatives, including AI-enabled ways of working and evolving business operating models.
• Advise leaders on people implications of AI adoption and transformation, including workforce planning and role design.
• Lead multiple cross-functional initiatives to develop integrated people strategies for transformation.
• Develop and execute organizational design and workforce strategies aligning with evolving models.
• Lead enterprise change management strategies ensuring readiness, adoption, and measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with sponsors and cross-functional teams to define scope, deliverables, and governance.
• Drive timely delivery of milestones and stakeholder meetings to ensure adoption.
• Identify and mitigate transformation risks and embed employee engagement strategies.
