Nscale is seeking a Director of HPC Systems Engineering to own the strategy, execution, and organizational effectiveness of its HPC platforms. This leader shapes the long-term platform direction and builds the teams responsible for delivering reliable, scalable HPC services.

You will lead managers and senior engineers, define operating models, and partner with stakeholders to ensure architecture, service quality, and delivery outcomes stay aligned with business goals as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a large HPC systems or infrastructure organisation.
• Strong credibility in software engineering for HPC systems and production operations.
• Ability to translate strategy into team structure and execution.
• Experience leading through managers and senior technical leaders.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve strategy for a major HPC systems area aligned with business goals.
• Lead a large organisation through managers and senior engineers; own delivery outcomes.
• Ensure architecture, reliability, and operational maturity across teams.
