Job summary

Rittal is seeking a Director for Hugh Performance Computing Solutions in Schaumburg, IL or remote. The role leads HPC customer strategy, drives growth across cloud, AI, and data center segments, and serves as the executive relationship leader for major accounts, delivering enclosure systems, power, cooling, and related infrastructure.

The position requires strong commercial leadership, technical acumen, and cross-functional collaboration to scale deployments and partnerships, with 50–75% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, IT, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 10+ years in data center infrastructure, IT systems, thermal management, or related industries.
• 5+ years leading customer-facing teams or strategic accounts.
• Experience with hyperscale, cloud, AI, colocation, or large enterprise customers.
• Knowledge of data center infra, enclosure systems, power distribution, cooling, direct liquid cooling, high-density computing.
• Proven in complex commercial negotiations and strategic business planning.
• Willingness to travel 50–75%.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Leadership: develop and execute North American HPC growth strategy.
• Customer Relationship Management: establish executive-level relationships and lead reviews.
• Solution Development & Delivery: collaborate with Engineering, Product, Operations to deliver solutions.
• Financial Management: own revenue growth, pricing strategies, and forecasting.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: lead teams across Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, PM.
