Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation seeks a seasoned leader to build and scale its product management organization for the HPAC product line. You will own the complete product lifecycle and roadmap while guiding a team of PMs across experience levels.

This director role focuses on defining strategy, identifying market opportunities, and aligning with engineering, marketing, and sales to drive revenue growth in data center, cloud, and compute markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management, product marketing, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience managing and launching products in data center, server, telecom, networking, or computing markets.
• Understanding of power management applications and products.
• Track record of driving revenue growth and market adoption.
• Strategic thinking with strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills.
• Communication that translates complex concepts clearly for technical and executive audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to influence across teams, geographies, and cultures.
• Change leadership – experience driving organizational improvements with measurable outcomes.
• Ownership mindset – high energy, self-motivated, and results-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Build and Hire: recruit and retain talented product managers with diverse experience levels.
• Drive Accountability: define roles, responsibilities, and success metrics; ensure ownership of products and outcomes.
• Build Culture: foster a collaborative, innovative, high-performing environment with knowledge-sharing.
• Own the Roadmap: define strategy, portfolio vision, and HPAC roadmap aligned with market demands.
• Identify Opportunities: monitor cloud infrastructure trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead Product Definition: develop MRDs, business cases, and analyses for new concepts.
• Manage the Pipeline: track KPIs for portfolio health and revenue potential.
• Define pricing strategies and optimize profitability.
• Scale Product Management: establish processes and best practices for mass-market operations.
• Develop systems & frameworks: templates for launches, GTM, pricing, and customer engagement.
• Enable the Team: training programs to improve PM effectiveness.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: align with engineering, marketing and sales; establish governance.
• Continuous Improvement: drive data-driven decisions across the organization.
• Drive best-in-class product documentation and materials.
