Dua Hotel, Autograph Collection by Marriott in Miami invites an experienced Director of Housekeeping to lead the department, ensuring spotless guest rooms, public spaces, laundry, and all areas.

You will inspire and manage a diverse team, optimize schedules and budgets, uphold safety and privacy standards, and partner with other departments to deliver memorable guest stays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in hospitality or related field, or 2-year college degree with 5+ years, or 4-year degree with 3+ years.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Proficient in Windows OS, spreadsheets, and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage the Housekeeping team to ensure spaces are clean and inviting.
• Oversee scheduling, Rosters, and departmental budgets.
• Uphold safety, privacy, and quality standards across all areas.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and guest issues.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Proficient in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing software
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure
• Ability to manage financial information and analyze complex data.
