The Director of Hospital Applications at Hospital for Special Care leads the Application Services Team to understand administrative, business and clinical needs, define requirements, develop solutions, implement systems and support installed applications.

This role manages project plans, coordinates cross-functional teams, supervises staff, and collaborates with CIO and IT leaders to execute the hospital's IT strategy while ensuring quality, efficiency and patient-centered care.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or health care field.
• Three to five years of experience in a health care environment.
• One to two years’ experience with hospital applications (business and clinical).
• Ability to analyze workflow and recommend improvements/automation.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Data analysis/data modeling experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all aspects of a project from initiation to completion, with timely reporting and delivering solutions on schedule and profitability targets.
• Create and update project plans, including handling change controls.
• Meet with business areas to establish priorities to meet department objectives.
• Determine timelines and resources to successfully implement and complete projects.
• Coordinate system design, testing and system implementation.
• Provide activation support to end users using system building, design and implementations.
• Administer and maintain applications and related databases; include analytical software packages.
