Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly experienced Hospital Facilities leader to oversee complex construction, engineering, design, and operations while guiding the Facilities team. A bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience, including supervisory roles, are required to manage major hospital projects and coordinate with contractors, designers, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
• 10 years of progressively responsible experience, including 3 years in supervision.
• Experience managing hospital construction and transition projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist AVP in facilities maintenance & operations, renovations and construction oversight.
• Relieve AVP of internal duties requiring understanding of policies and programs.
• Lead complex projects and reports with external departments and contractors.
• Provide leadership to Hospital Facilities team and foster collaboration to deliver results.
• Evaluate business decisions and manage contract pricing with risk controls.
• Support invoicing procedures to ensure accurate materials and records.
• Oversee staffing, engineering services, and survey readiness (TJC, CAP, LVAD, Stroke).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
