Job summary

LA Galaxy is seeking a Director of Education to lead the high school education program, align it with the club’s mission, and champion academic excellence across the academy.

You will build policy, coordinate with the Academy and partner schools, monitor student progress, schedule events, and mentor staff to deliver engaging online and in-person learning. This role also guides UC/CSU course alignment and college recruitment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Education, advanced degree preferred.
• 4–6 years classroom teaching experience.
• 6–8 years related work experience.
• Experience developing and delivering high school educational programs.
• Proven mentoring of students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the high school's identity across all club environments.
• Build policies and structures to reinforce Academy culture.
• Track student progress and ensure academic integrity.
• Schedule education program activities and events.
• Liaise with Educational Partner and College Counseling/Recruitment.
• Lead Enrichment Program planning and community outreach.
• Monitor data collection and program evaluation.
