Job summary

AEG seeks a Director of Education for the LA Galaxy to oversee the high school education program, ensuring alignment with the club's mission and values. You will integrate the education initiative into all program activities and collaborate across LA Galaxy entities to promote student achievement.

The role requires leadership in curriculum development, policy deployment, and stakeholder communication, with a focus on academic integrity and holistic student development.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Education; advanced degree preferred.
• 4–6 years classroom teaching experience.
• 6–8 years related work experience.
• Experience in developing and delivering high school educational programs.
• Ability to mentor students and guide them through education processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high school identity and visibility across clubs (LA Galaxy, LA Galaxy II, LA Galaxy Academy).
• Manage student success with tracking academic progress and accountability.
• Oversee scheduling and logistics of the education program, including meetings and events.
• Liaise with Educational Partners and College Counseling/Recruitment.
• Maintain staff training with regular meetings and coaching.
• Lead planning of the Enrichment Program and community outreach.
• Track data collection and program evaluation (GPA, UC/CSU coursework, AP enrollment, graduation).
