Job summary

Blood Cancer United in Los Angeles is seeking a mission-driven leader to oversee fundraising operations, aligning education services and health research with the organization's goals. This role supervises staff, volunteers, and committees, and drives local donor cultivation to advance national stewardship.

You will implement an innovative strategic plan, recruit and train peer-to-peer fundraising teams, and build strong relationships with volunteers and partners while delivering revenue targets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7–8 years of relevant experience in fundraising or nonprofit leadership.
• Proven ability to build high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Mission Integration with Education Services and Health Research to communicate Blood Cancer United's mission and priorities.
• Organize mission-centered, local donor cultivation events and prospect high-impact donors for national stewardship activities.
• Lead and develop fundraising staff; hire and train peer-to-peer fundraising teams.
• Recruit and cultivate volunteers and high-level committees; provide comprehensive volunteer support.
• Achieve high-impact peer-to-peer fundraising revenue goals and retain/upgrade sponsorship for all products.
• Maintain knowledge of Blood Cancer United's mission and programs to promote initiatives.
