Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers across disciplines.
• Oversee technical quality and ensure adherence to QA/QC processes and documentation standards.
• Manage project staffing, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop proposals, contracts, and cost estimates in alignment with company standards.
• Provide expert guidance on engineering design, specifications, and calculations.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsive service.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure operational efficiency.
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance management of engineering staff.
• Support financial oversight including project accounting, budgeting, and revenue forecasting.
• Contribute to marketing and business development efforts within your area of expertise.
  
  

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of MEP engineering, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical/IT systems.
• Proven experience in healthcare and life sciences facility design.
• Strong project management skills and familiarity with relevant codes (NFPA, FGI, AHJ).
• Proficiency in load analysis and energy modeling tools (e.g., eQUEST, Trane Trace, ENERGY STAR, Carrier HAP).
• Skilled in AutoCAD and Revit; LEED knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent time management, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Financial acumen and experience managing departmental budgets and projections.
• Ability to manage internal and external resources and prioritize multiple projects.
  
  

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive engineering and leadership experience.
• Demonstrated success managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams and complex projects.
