Job summary

The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center seeks a Director of Facilities Planning to lead planning for major and minor projects, advise the ED, and coordinate with FPS teams.

You will drive institutional space planning, master plans, and risk/automation alignment, with emphasis on patient care spaces and research facilities. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's and often a Master’s degree, plus at least 10 years in facilities planning and 5 years in supervisory roles, with healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 10 years in institutional facilities planning and 5 years in managerial/supervisory roles required.
• Healthcare design, patient care planning or research planning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the Project Planning and Development program.
• Ensure compliance with Institutional Standards and Regulatory Requirements.
• Manage staffing, workload, goals, policies, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with ED and other leaders; oversee project teams in all phases.
