Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Director of New Solutions Development to lead the creation, execution and lifecycle management of customer-facing solutions for health systems and pharmacies. You will partner with sales, marketing, finance, IT and external partners to ensure market-driven, financially sound programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in product development, product management, product marketing or a closely-related field preferred.
• Experience in development of customer-facing solutions for health systems and pharmacies.
• Experience managing solutions portfolios with governance and optimization.
• Robust experience building business cases, financial models and performance tracking.
• Team leadership experience and cross-functional collaboration with senior leaders.
• Background in software/product development methodologies or project management.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for New Solutions Development and communicate across commercial teams.
• Lead new solutions from ideation through launch and lifecycle management.
• Evolve stage-gate processes and governance across the solutions portfolio.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of new solution ideas balancing innovation, capacity and ROI.
• Analyze market trends and Voice of Customer to expand the portfolio.
• Define technical requirements with IT and internal SMEs aligned to business objectives.
• Partner with marketing and sales for go-to-market strategy and adoption.
• Drive financial commitments, revenue growth, cost savings and performance tracking.
• Monitor and optimize existing programs and transitions to operations.
• Provide leadership for cross-functional strategic initiatives and talent development.
