You will guide a team of about 23 FTEs across coding, imaging, release of information, CDI, and privacy compliance to support regulatory and clinical goals.

This role partners with Revenue Cycle, IT, Quality, and Compliance to align HIM with organizational growth, advance CDI

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree strongly preferred.
• RHIA certification required.
• Additional certifications including RHIT, CSS, CPC, CCS-P or HIM strongly preferred.

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for HIM and medical records functions; HIPAA Privacy Officer.
• Lead a team of ~23 FTEs and oversee coding, document imaging and integrity, release of information, content management, HIM workflows, and privacy compliance.
• Advance the Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) program; assess practices and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, IT, Quality, and Compliance to align HIM with organizational priorities and outcomes.
