Job summary

Gold's Gym seeks a Director of Development Services to lead planning, design, construction support, remodel initiatives, and development programs for corporate and franchise gyms. You will align Real Estate, Design, Construction, Equipment, Franchise Ops, and partners to deliver projects on time and within budget while upholding Gold's Gym brand standards.

You will drive consistency across NA portfolio with scalable processes, governance, and dashboards for leadership updates, enabling growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, architecture, engineering, real estate, business or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in development, construction, architecture, project management or related disciplines.
• Multi-site retail, fitness, hospitality, franchise experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead development initiatives for new club openings, relocations, expansions, and remodel programs.
• Partner with the SVP of Development to establish annual development priorities and capital plans.
• Develop scalable development processes, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Create project dashboards, milestone reporting, and executive updates for senior leadership.
• Oversee design standards, construction processes, remodel programs, and franchise development support.
• Provide leadership from pre-construction through grand opening and project delivery.
• Coordinate budgeting, scheduling, permitting, contractor coordination, and capital planning.
• Collaborate with Operations and Finance on budgeting and vendor programs.
