Scotiabank is seeking a Director & Head of GWM Business Risk Management, Regulatory in Dallas/New York. The role leads regulatory risk initiatives across US cross-border activities, advising senior leadership on matters affecting strategy and growth in Global Wealth Management.

The candidate will drive risk framework development, governance, and policy standardization, coordinating with legal, compliance, and risk teams in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of progressively senior experience in wealth management, regulatory risk, legal, compliance, securities regulation, or governance, with leadership in a global institution.
• 5+ years of management experience leading a team of direct reports.
• Understanding of US and international regulatory environments and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for GWM's U.S. cross-border securities regulatory framework and risk management programs.
• Advise executive leadership on regulatory matters influencing strategy, growth, revenue, and risk.
• Develop innovative regulatory solutions aligned with risk appetite and business objectives.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, legal, and risk professionals to ensure regulatory compliance across units.
