Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a high-impact business development professional to join the Growth Team. Reporting to the Business Development Leader, you will drive growth in High Growth Markets by leading cross-functional teams and building strategic relationships with customers and prime integrators.

You will oversee engagement strategy, executive-level engagements, and pipeline expansion while aligning with Mercury's long-term growth plans.

Qualifications

20+ years in Aerospace and Defense, multiple disciplines including BD, engineering, PM, or sales.
Understanding of national security space markets and acquisition pathways (BAA, OTA, FAR-based).
Active Top-Secret clearance is required.
Experience engaging with SDA, USSF/SSC, AFRL, MDA, IC, or NASA.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams including Programs Managers, Engineering, Sales, and PM.
Develop and execute growth strategies for High Growth Markets.
Drive executive engagements through EXCOMs, trade shows and industry meetings.
Grow and expand Mercury Pipeline with High Growth Market Accounts.
Provide quarterly updates to senior leadership on progress and plans.
Advance early Gate processes for new pursuits with customers.
Achieve KPIs to convert pipeline per internal priorities.
Travel 50% of the time.
