Role Overview

The Director, Government Strategy & Planning, is part of the Market Access, Patient Services & Contracting team. You will develop a comprehensive Patient Access strategy, lead cross-functional teams, and implement market access, pricing, and contracting strategies for your assigned brand franchise.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of products to adapt market access strategies as products mature.
• Collaborate with brand and account teams to create access-related marketing materials.
• Analyze the impact of policies like the Inflation Reduction Act and shape future policy strategies with Government Affairs.
• Advise on market access, pricing, and reimbursement strategies, considering government policies.
• Educate teams on market access evolution and best practices.
• Assess how market access factors influence forecasts and NPVs.
• Adapt strategies swiftly to changing market dynamics.
• Work with Finance on data analytics and business case development.
• Utilize market insights and stakeholder feedback to support brand plans through various access levers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• 10-12 years in project management within Market Access or related fields, with at least 7 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of government pricing principles and market access considerations for pipelines.
• Experience in business case management and cross-regional brand management.

Additional Details

Location: Princeton, NJ (no remote option). Travel up to 20% for field visits and meetings.
