Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Director of Property (D1) to lead government and company property programs across the sector. You will manage a team of property professionals and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and related regulations while interfacing with customers and auditors.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong communication, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced defense environment with clear objectives and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and related Federal contracting regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years in government property, or Master’s with 8+ years.
• Knowledge of DFARS business systems.
• Knowledge of SOX reporting requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Experience leading Government Property teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of property professionals in managing government/customer and company property.
• Set and implement strategic direction for Government Property organization.
• Establish property procedures to ensure compliance with NG and government/customer requirements.
• Maintain compliant Government Property operations per policies and regulations.
• Interface with customers, auditors, and senior management on property matters.
• Develop and generate key property reporting information and metrics.
• Ensure compliance to FAR/DFARS and related Federal contracting requirements.
• Develop processes for self-assessments and inventories.
• Continuously improve property management systems and processes.
